This is my next quilt and it is from Missouri Star Quilt Company. Go to the Internet and type in Missouri Star Quilt Company, then scroll down to where it says Missouri Star Quilt Company - You Tube, open, then at the top type in Easy Strip Butterflies and watch tutorial. I used batiks which are more expensive and also used one of the colors in each butterfly as the butterfly body instead of the white Jenny used. I plan on making another one of these butterfly quilts but instead of using batiks, use just 4 - 5 1/2 inch squares instead of strips. The two tops squares will be a print and the two solid color bottom sections and body will be a contrasting color from the print used. I am using white sashing along with a border. You can also use 6 1/2 inch squares for a larger block. Hope you all will try this one.

I don't make make many quilts anymore, but I DO appreciate the directions
you give as you make your quilts. Sometimes I make a smaller version lap
quilt to keep me warm as I watch TV. Thank you very much!

Hello Barbara,
Thank you for your comments about making quilts. Is this the only quilt or fabric newsgroup that you know of?? It just seem like some have left our newsgroup. Just hope Brian never leaves because I depend on his help so much.

Thank you. I am still here, I guess I just have not had much to say
recently.

I think this a direct link to the tutorial you described in your OP:

The E-mail associated with the account is a "spamcatcher" account that I
got to every couple of months to empty out, and anything sent to it will
not be seen for probably several months, if it is seen at all.
